Charter points

01

Our Service Promise

  • Friendly, professional team.
  • Careful, consistent workmanship — no rushed jobs.
  • Respect for your time, property and neighbours.
02

Clear Quotes & Scope

  • Itemised quotes that spell out what's included (e.g., mowing height, edging, hedge length/height, clippings handling, green-waste disposal).
  • Any variations or extras are approved by you first — no surprise charges.
  • If a deposit is needed for larger projects, we'll state that up front; otherwise payment is due on completion.
03

Scheduling & Communication

  • Confirmed booking window by SMS or email.
  • If weather or access prevents work, we'll notify you promptly and propose the next available time.
  • Optional photo updates of completed work on request.
04

Workmanship Standards

  • Lawn mowing: even cut, no scalping; edges trimmed; hard surfaces cleared.
  • Hedging: neat lines, safe drop zone, tidy finish.
  • Garden cleanups and weeding: beds left clear; paths and patios debris-free.
  • Gutter cleaning: gutters cleared and downpipes checked (where safely accessible).
  • Mulching: applied at agreed depth and away from trunks and stems.
05

Environmental Care (Canberra-Smart)

  • Battery-powered, solar-charged tools for lower noise and emissions.
  • No blowing grass or debris into streets or stormwater drains — we collect, bin or mulch on site as agreed.
  • Sensible herbicide use only when needed and by request; otherwise we prioritise manual and low-impact methods.
06

Noise & Neighbours

  • We operate within Canberra's permitted daytime noise and activity hours.
  • Our battery equipment keeps sound levels down; if you have shift workers, babies or other sensitivities, tell us and we'll schedule accordingly.
07

Safety, Scope & Powerlines

  • We only undertake tasks we are properly equipped and trained to perform.
  • Near live powerlines: we do not perform tree or pruning work in the hazard zone; we'll refer you to an Evoenergy-accredited arborist.
  • Ladders and roof work are conducted only where it's safe to do so.
08

Property Care & Access

  • We take care with gates, fences, irrigation and garden ornaments.
  • Please secure pets and provide access to power and water (if needed).
  • If we accidentally damage something, we'll own it and fix it.
09

Payment & Invoicing

  • Simple, itemised invoices with the same price as quoted (unless you approved a variation).
  • Common payment options available; receipts provided.
  • For regular maintenance, you can choose per-visit or monthly billing.
10

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • If you need to cancel or change a booking, please give 24 hours' notice.
  • If we're ever running late or held up by weather, we'll keep you updated and reschedule promptly.

  • Work is delivered with due care and skill and within a reasonable time. If we miss the mark, we'll return to make it right.
  • Your consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this charter.
